If you are under the impression that your data are, nonetheless, not secured well or if there are indications of abuse then please contact us via info@cddn.nl. CDDN B.V. took the following measures to secure your personal data:

  • Any and all customer data on the platform are encrypted – hence, they are not linked to or can be linked back to a specific company.
  • Your company receives a unique SFTP account in order to have the data exchange between your company and the Consumer Records Database take place securely. Thanks to this construction it is not possible for your company (and for other companies) to access the Consumer Records Database.
  • Our server is located in its own environment in a data centre (no cloud solution), equipped with a hardware-oriented firewall, up to date virus protection, and the latest version of the FTP server software. In addition, our server has been provided with a certificate published by trusted party COMODO. The software automatically blocks IP addresses and accounts when abuse is detected (incorrect login, or frequent logins, etc.).
  • Security software, e.g. a virus scanner and firewall.
  • TLS (previously SSL). We send your data via a secure internet connection. You can recognise this by ‘htpps’ and the lock symbol in the address bar.
  • DNSSEC is an additional security (in addition to DNS) for the conversion of a domain name (#company_website) into the IP address linked to the same (server name); it is provided with a digital signature. You can have this signature checked automatically. This way, we prevent you from being diverted to a false IP address.
